About Aztec Mediation

Randy L. Bullis, J.D. Certified Mediator

Randy Bullis brings a unique combination of legal education, executive leadership, business judgment, and practical conflict-resolution experience to the mediation process. With a J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law and a B.B.A. in Accounting from The University of Texas at El Paso, Randy understands both the legal and financial pressures that often drive disputes. His accounting background helps him quickly evaluate damages, settlement figures, and the economic realities that shape each party's options.

As a former college campus president, Randy has led faculty, staff, and administrators through complex personnel, budget, and operational decisions. That experience gives him firsthand insight into the perspectives of hiring managers and executives, as well as the employees and stakeholders affected by their choices. He understands how workplace disputes affect morale, reputation, and the long-term health of an organization. He also brings a leader's perspective on how institutions make decisions under pressure.

His professional background includes leadership in education, business operations, organizational management, and community service. Across these roles, Randy has built consensus among people with competing priorities, negotiated difficult outcomes, and kept groups focused on shared goals. That experience allows him to help parties identify practical solutions while maintaining professionalism, neutrality, and respect throughout the process.

Randy approaches every mediation with careful preparation and a commitment to listening. He works to ensure each party feels heard, helps clarify the issues that matter most, and encourages realistic assessments of risk, cost, and opportunity. Whether the matter involves an employment concern, a business disagreement, or a contract dispute, he guides the conversation toward resolution in a calm, structured, and confidential setting.

Parties and counsel can expect a mediator who respects their time, understands the stakes, and is dedicated to helping them reach durable agreements that allow everyone to move forward with confidence.
